UTC's annual Homecoming needed a logo that captured the energy of Las Vegas while staying firmly within the university's brand guidelines, two creative directions that don't naturally want to coexist.

The solution balanced the boldness and showmanship of the Vegas aesthetic with UTC's established color system and typographic standards. After presenting to the Homecoming Committee, the design was approved, and I was brought on to extend it across the full event brand: printed materials, display banners, social media graphics, GIF animations, and t-shirts.

It's a good example of designing within constraints. The brief was specific, the brand rules were non-negotiable, and the creative challenge was finding the energy within those boundaries rather than around them.
